Institute of Pharmacy organized an event ‘ANTARANG 2018’ on 28th September for second time. This carnival was celebrated with full of joy and zest. This event was organized by students which was coordinated by Prof. Umesh Laddha and Prof. Vaishali Rawal. For success of event every student contributed financial help of Rs. 170 /-. Additionally; event was also supported by three sponsors. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Uttam Kamble who is Chief Editor at Sakal Media Group and well known socialist. For inauguration HOI of all Institutes of BKC were present. After the inauguration he guided the students about ‘Importance of zero mind concepts and its role in betterment of human life’. He also inspired student to follow their passion. In welcome speech, the principal Dr. Sanjay J. Kshirsagar explained his own idea about ANTARANG and vision behind it. He also said that, ‘Don’t take it as a competition take it as platform’. He wanted to explore student’s talent and creativity and also organizing skill. Then Cultural secretary Mr. Piyush Ingale explore about second Antarang 2018 and the whole day program along with glimpse of last Antarang. Our B.Pharmacy Student from second, third and final year students gave inauguration Dhol performance. Professor Ms. vaishali Rawal gave a vote of thanks for the formal function. After that the main Antarang cultural event began which was celebrated by two main sessions viz. competition and cultural event. In competition the event like Drawing, Sketching, Best out of Waste, Salad decoration, Rangoli was held and also a creativity house was made in which the students kept there belonging those they have made from their home. The response for the Creativity House was very remarkable. Second session of cultural event was started in evening at Amphitheater. The cultural event was headed by the Dance and Singing competition. Also the instrumental performance was done by the students. Even staffs were not able to stop themselves form singing on stage. In the last by the highest points “FINAL YEAR B PHARMACY” won the Antarang Cultural Championship trophy. After the event Principal Sir talked about the organization and all the event management. The event was ended with DJ dance and dinner. All the Teaching and supporting staff took active participation in success of event. The event was successfully organized by by Mr. Piyush Ingale and Ms.Tejaswini Tadge and there organizing team. Anchoring was done by team of Ms. Sophia Francis and Ms. Amrutha Hegde.
