About Department

Department of Computer Science and Design Engineering was established in the year 2021 for regular shift with the intake of 60 students. The department is running the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere approved course in Computer Science and Design Engineering.

The course of Computer Science and Design Engineering has been designed to produce graduates who are not only knowledgeable about computing approaches, tools, and technologies, but also about design approaches and new media technologies and applications. Computer Science and Design (CSD) mixes core design courses with a strong programming foundation. Thus, students will be prepared to work in the IT industry as well as the digital media industry. Graduation in CSD aims to provide a holistic career program to make students skilled in the latest design technologies to transform future generations. Through this course, students will gain an interdisciplinary skill set that will prepare them for a variety of careers in fields such as the arts, entertainment/games, animation, virtual/augmented reality, mobile application development, multimedia, product/web design, cybersecurity, digital analytics, and other interactive systems in a variety of industries.

Department has well-equipped laboratories, well-qualified and dedicated faculties along with Industry-exposure. All faculties are consistently promoting the study of latest technologies and inventions in the field of Computer Science and Design which boost the confidence of students.

Department shapes the overall development of students as well as computer professionals by acquainting them with Industrial Visits, Seminars and Workshops; as well as conducting co-curricular activities and allowing students to participate in various competitions organized by various Engineering colleges. For development of student’s personality as a basic need of professional, the various activities are conducted by resource persons. Apart from four-wall classroom teaching the students pursue industrial training and can also pursue various courses through Massive Online Learning Resources, such as SWAYAM-NPTEL.
