About Department

Welcome to Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. level, we offer two Bachelor of Science degrees: Civil and Environmental Engineering Engineering. The Department seeks to combine excellence in education with service to the industry. Our vision is to be recognized as innovative and leading Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. Our goal is to provide students with a balance of intellectual and practical experiences that enable them to serve a variety of societal needs.

An education in civil and environmental engineering provides an excellent foundation to solve the world’s greatest challenges in areas such as sustainability, environment, or energy. Students who are trained in civil and environmental engineering have a broad, fluid base in science and engineering. This enables them to work across disciplines and tackle the grand challenges of improving our living  conditions in harmony with nature.

Trained with both project and policy courses, graduates will find study and work opportunities on almost every continent in the world, pursuing careers in business, consulting, and technology-driven industry; in government, policy, and law, in public health, environmental protection, and ecological restoration; in small and large scale construction and material and structural analysis and design; and in managing air, water, and land transit of goods and people.

The student undergoes Industrial Training and visits live construction sites to gain practical knowledge and understanding of the field constraints. We encourage regular interaction among students, parents and staff, along with a Training and Placement Cell which works full time for a bright future for the students hence I am sure that the Civil Engineers of MET College will make the Nation proud. I assure that all facilities with leading technology will be available under one roof.
