About Department
Department of Automation and Robotics Engineering was established in the year 2021 for regular shift with the intake of 60 students. The department is running Under Graduate Programme affiliated to the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere approved course in Automation and Robotics Engineering.
The course of Automation and Robotics Engineering is designed to produce graduates who are knowledgeable about Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering & Electrical Engineering. The course of Automation and Robotics Engineering is very recent trend in Universal market. Thus, students will be prepared to work in the Automation industry as well as the Robot industry. Graduation in A & R aims to provide a career program to make students skilled in the latest technologies. Through this course, students will gain an interdisciplinary skill set that will prepare them for a variety of careers in fields such as the robotics, mechanical, automation, automobile, software , IT, entertainment/games, food and other interactive systems in a variety of industries.
Department has well-equipped laboratories, well-qualified and dedicated faculties along with Industry-exposure. All faculties are consistently promoting the study of latest technologies in the field of the course of Automation and Robotics Engineering which boost the confidence of students.
Department focuses on the overall development of students by providing them with Industrial Visits, Seminars and Workshops; as well as conducting co-curricular activities and allowing students to participate in various competitions organized by various Engineering colleges. Department aims for development of student’s personality as a basic need of professional, the various activities are conducted by resource persons and Personal Mentoring sessions are also arranged. Apart from classroom teaching the students pursue industrial training and can also pursue various courses through Massive Online Learning Resources, such as SWAYAM-NPTEL.
