Workshop on php

MCA department has conducted workshop on PHP on 2nd Feb 2015 to 6th Feb 2015. The main purpose of this workshop is to learn website development using all basics of PHP. This workshop was taken by Mr. Prasad Pawtekar, Director of GM Softech and Services, Nashik.

Mr. Prasad sir completed BCS, MCS from Gokhale Education Society’s RYK College Nashik. He had done many projects in various languages like PHP, C++, Java and many more. He has conducted many workshops since from 2010 to yet. He has many experienced, how to solved real time example which is too essential to the current students.

There were 100 plus students are participated from SYMCA division A and division B. Also 20 students were active volunteers for the above program. PHP workshop was divided into 5 days on basics of PHP and various its related concepts that are scheduled are as follows :

Day1:
This day session starts on 9.30am. Prasad sir starts with Basics of HTML4, HTML5, CSS, and examples of each. After lunch practical session started in M1, M2, L3 and L4 labs respectively. Students practiced all the assignments in the lab and performed it successfully.

Day2:
This day session started on 9.00am with Basics of PHP5, data types, control structures and all the tags. All the tools of PHP, post method, get method and its examples took by sir nicely. After lunch practical session started in which students practiced all the assignments that carried by sir in the morning session and performed it successfully.

Day 3:
This day session started on 9.30am with PHP5 forms and database connectivity with front end. MySQL is used as a database. Sir has taken some ERP based examples that creates interest among students. After lunch practical session started in which students practiced all the ERP based examples that carried by sir in the morning session performed it successfully.

Day4:
In this session sir took extra concepts of PHP like Session, Cookies, Uploading mail to server, and Deploy site on server and its examples. Sir took sessions in such a way that students affected towards sir and give reply quickly. After lunch practical session started in which students practiced all the server-client based examples that carried by sir that performed it successfully by students.

Day5:
Sir started session at 9.00AM with extra concepts which was very helpful for project activity. Sir finished AJAX, JQuery, and JavaScript with variety of examples. And very important one of the framework of PHP “Codeignitor” finished by taking a small web site. After lunch students performed practical session based on morning session. After completed the session students had given nice feedback about the session.
