Department of Mechanical
Engineering of MET’s Institute of Technology
(Polytechnic), was established regular shift
with the intake of 60, in 2006, expanded its
intake 120 from 2007. From 2012, second shift
having intake capacity of 60 has been started.
First Batch of Diploma students in Mechanical
Engineering passed out in 2009. Department has
the facility of practical labs with high end
equipments apart from academic requirement.
Department has well qualified and dedicated
faculty having academic and industrial exposure.
This helps in maintaining synergy of theoretical
knowledge and its industrial application. The
faculties not only take keen interest in the
embodiment of the young engineers but also
organize various extracurricular activities to
boost the morale of the students.
