Essay Competition

Every career path requires writing notes, memos, emails, and reports, all of which require good writing skills to effectively communicate a certain set of ideas. Good writing skills communicate intelligence, professionalism, and competency. Students must not only know how to write effectively, they must also be discreet in their written work. Students ability to write demonstrates their intellectual flexibility and maturity. Keeping this in mind an “Essay writing competition “was held on 11th July 2014 at 3.00pm in MCA Department. This activity was held under eMAS students association.

Staff members shortlisted best 20 essays in English and Marathi language. These were further judged by Mr.Manke Sir. The winners were:
English language
1st prize- Miss.Darshana Sugandhi
2nd prize- Miss.Poonam Gupta
Consolation prize- Mr.Nikhil Deshmukh, Mr.Toby Kurian

Marathi language
1st prize-Mr.Nilesh Sonawane
2nd prize- Mr.Chetan Thakare
Consolation prize- Miss.Pallavi Malunjkar, Miss.Shivani Kulkarni

The prizes included books and certificate.
