Program Educational Objectives 

   The objectives of the Civil Engineering Course are to produce engineers that :  
  1. Are able to design safe, economical and environmentally viable and sustainable solutions for civil engineering problems with the knowledge acquired during the course learning.

  2. Acknowledge the need for personal and professional adaptability.

  3. Develop professionally in their careers, through continued development of technical, management and communication skills with leadership qualities.

  4. Exhibit professional responsibility and an appreciation of societal, ethical, regulatory, and global issues concerned to civil engineering projects
Program Specific Outcomes 
    The students after completion of the course will have :
  1. Skill to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering.

  2. An ability to design a system or process to meet desired needs of the country considering constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety and sustainability.

  3. Capacity to work with multi-disciplinary teams.

  4. A knack to Identify, formulate and solve engineering problems.

  5. An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility

  6. An ability to communicate effectively.

  7. The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context.

  8. A recognition of the need for and an ability to engage in life-long learning
